3rd time’s the charm: Three new publishers join the Blacknut Cloud Gaming Catalog this spring, bringing a range of exciting new games for Blacknut players
This spring, three new indie publishers join the Blacknut Catalog with a myriad of games: Bright Gambit, Aurum Dust, Embers.
A boutique indie publisher headquartered in Cyprus, AurumDust was founded in 2016 with an initial debut of Ash of Gods: Redemption, a turn-based RPG mixed with visual novel and CCG elements. The first installment was initially released on PC, XBOX, PS4 and Switch, and now joins Blacknut’s cloud catalog. The AurumDust team also recently released Ash of Gods: The Way, the third installment in the Ash of Gods franchise, making the complete trilogy available to Blacknut players across all their favorite devices.
Publisher Embers, headquartered in Strasbourg, France, presents Blacknut players with Strayed Lights, an atmospheric action-adventure game with fluid combat and an intricate world imbued with mystery. Players are transformed into tiny, growing lights seeking transcendence whilst they explore a land of otherworldly ruins and glowing trees, all filled with entities of flickering lights and luminescent shadows. The game’s combat elements allow for the absorption of opponent creature energies, whilst progress journeys unlock abilities and progress towards awakening while seeing game avatars grow from a newborn to an ascended being.
Bright Gamebits, a private video game funding initiative, brings a selection of innovative games to Blacknut’s global catalog including GRUNND, Lonesome Village, Orten Was The Case, and Super Adventure Hand.
- Super Adventure Hand, a truly quirky game provided by DevM Games for Bright Gambit, allows players to try their hand as a hand! Playing as the five fingered metacarpus, users embark on “gripping handventure” to handle numerous obstacles and avoid the terrible feet.
- Lonesome Village, a puzzle filled life sim game, features a cozy, quiet town struggling to rebuild after a strange calamity wiped out their homes. Players take on the role of Wes, the coyote and help bring this village back from the brink of destruction for hours of entertaining gameplay.
- Orten Was The Case – a fun mystery game provided by Woodhill Interactive for Bright Gambit features a Groundhog day storyline. Players control Ziggy, who’s stuck in a time loop and uncover millenia-old mysteries in the caves and tunnels deep down below Orten, a suburb to a fictional Swedish metropolis
Empowering indie publishers through the limitless potential of the cloud is not just our mission; it's our passion. We're thrilled to embark on this journey, hand in hand with visionary creators, to redefine what's possible in terms of reach and devices for our partners and users.
