Through Blacknut, the world of Midgar will be accessible through the cloud, allowing players to experience Cloud Strife’s journey without the need for a dedicated gaming console. The game will roll out worldwide, with availability offered through different commercial models ranging from subscription access in Blacknut’s core catalog and a new Buy & Stream offering.
The arrival of FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE marks another significant step in the evolution of the Blacknut and Square Enix relationship. The companies first partnered in 2022 to bring a selection of Square Enix titles to Blacknut, followed by an expanded collaboration in 2025 that added further acclaimed titles, including Life is Strange Remastered, Life is Strange: True Colors, Just Cause 3, Just Cause 4 Reloaded and Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition.
