Blacknut launches exclusive “Free Game Pilot” Experience for Samsung Gaming Hub on SmartTVs in US and deploy dedicated Cloud Support for the occasion with Radian Arc & Tencent Cloud
Blacknut Cloud Gaming has launched a new experience for Samsung SmartTV users: a two-part “Free Game Pilot” of premium cloud games. Starting November 9, 2023 players in the United States on the Samsung Gaming Hub will have exclusive access to a selection of premium video games streamable directly to compatible SmartTVs without the need for a subscription or account.
This will be the first time free and fully unlimited access to premium cloud video games at this scale will be available to SmartTV users, bringing a seamless cloud gaming experience to any compatible home.
Blacknut’s solution was adapted and deployed in less than 2 months for Samsung, a testament to Blacknut’s capability to provide the best answer for a seamless user experience; no small feat considering usership of the Samsung Gaming Hub in USA across 2020, 2021, & 2022 Samsung TV device audiences.
The “Free Game Pilot” experience for Samsung is possible through Blacknut’s unique hybrid public-private infrastructure, which delivers cloud gaming at scale, globally, and with viable unit economics. During both seasons, player experiences will be guaranteed thanks to Blacknut’s exclusive Hybrid Cloud, backed by the exceptional added support of our cloud partners Radian Arc, backed by Supermicro-built GPU Edge Infrastructure and powered by AMD technologies, and Tencent Cloud.
Season1 will offer unlimited playtime of 11 selected games for 3 months from Nov 8, 2023, and will be followed by a Season2, wherein playtime will be limited to 30 minutes per game, before encouraging players to continue playing by subscribing to Blacknut cloud gaming. Additional games will launch for users throughout the pilot ensuring users will have the chance to try a myriad of titles and genres.
